Mobile care from Owens Elite is different from an on-demand IV service. Every visit begins with a medical evaluation. Treatment is based on your symptoms, health history, vital signs and individual medical needs — not a preselected IV menu.

IV fluids can be useful in the right circumstances, but intravenous treatment is not appropriate simply because someone requests it.
Danae begins each mobile visit by evaluating your symptoms, relevant medical history, medications and vital signs to determine what care is medically appropriate.
Sometimes that may include IV hydration or medication. Other times, oral hydration, a prescription, additional testing, another treatment plan or evaluation at a higher level of care may be the better choice.
You request the medical visit. Your clinical evaluation determines the treatment.

Mobile medical care may be appropriate for select non-emergency health concerns that benefit from an in-person assessment.

Availability depends on Danae's clinical schedule, patient location and the nature of the requested visit. Same-day service may be possible but is not guaranteed.
Mobile care is not emergency care.
Certain symptoms require immediate evaluation in an emergency department and are not appropriate for a mobile appointment.
Do not delay emergency care while waiting for a mobile appointment or response from Owens Elite.

Can I simply order an IV?
No. Owens Elite does not provide IV therapy solely because a patient requests a particular drip. Every mobile visit begins with an appropriate medical evaluation. IV therapy is provided only when Danae determines it is clinically indicated and appropriate.
What happens if Danae determines I don't need an IV?
You will receive the medical care and recommendations appropriate for your condition. Under the proposed pricing structure, if IV therapy is not provided, the visit is billed as the $175 Mobile Medical Evaluation rather than an IV-treatment visit.
Where are mobile appointments available?
Mobile service is currently limited to Palm Beach County, Florida. Availability depends on patient location, Danae's schedule and the type of medical care requested.
Is same-day service available?
Same-day service may be available on a case-by-case basis, but it is not guaranteed. All mobile appointments are subject to provider availability.
Can medications be given through the IV?
Certain medications may be administered when medically appropriate following evaluation. The medication selected, route of administration and treatment plan depend on the individual patient's medical needs. No particular medication is guaranteed.
What if I need laboratory testing or imaging?
Danae may recommend laboratory testing, imaging, specialist evaluation or another level of medical care when appropriate. Outside testing and services are billed separately.
Can mobile IV care replace an emergency-room visit?
No. Owens Elite mobile care is intended only for appropriate non-emergency medical needs. Serious or potentially life-threatening symptoms require immediate emergency evaluation.
