A few things to know.
What is concierge healthcare?
Concierge healthcare is a private-pay model that provides patients with enhanced access, longer visits and a more direct ongoing relationship with their healthcare provider.
Do you accept insurance?
Owens Elite Health & Wellness is a private-pay practice. Fees for services provided by the practice are paid directly by the patient.
Does membership replace health insurance?
No. Concierge membership does not replace comprehensive health insurance and does not cover hospitalization, emergency care, specialty services, imaging, laboratory testing or other services provided outside Owens Elite Health & Wellness.
Are prescriptions included in my membership?
Prescription management is included when appropriate under your membership, but the cost of medications and medical supplies is not included. Prescriptions are provided only following appropriate medical evaluation and when clinically and legally appropriate.
Are laboratory tests included?
No. Laboratory and diagnostic testing costs are separate. When testing is recommended, available options and next steps will be discussed with you.
What happens if I need in-person or emergency care?
Some medical conditions require an in-person examination, urgent care, emergency evaluation, laboratory testing, imaging or specialist treatment. When another level of care is appropriate, you will be advised accordingly.
Can I use concierge messaging for an emergency?
No. Patient messaging, telehealth and concierge communication are not emergency services. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
